Two parties in one!

by Shannon
(South Africa)

My sister and I celebrate our birthday 10days apart. This year I'm turning 21 and she is turning 30. We would like to have a party together. Any ideas on how to bring these 2 extremes together?

Try a fun theme that will do both your birthdays justice like Fabulous Feme Fatales, Diva Fashionistas or a host a decade party like the 20s, 50s or 80s.

Disco would be an awesome theme too. Mirrored balls, spandex, crazy sunglasses, you get the idea.

Or, if you are comfortable poking fun at your age, try a black and white party. Divide the party space and have your portion the black side and your sister the white. Ask people to dress in one color or the other.

Just pick a theme you both love and go for it.

Best wishes!
