Pilot airplane theme party

I want to give a party for my husband. He is a pilot, has been one since he was 17, and has recently achieved 10,000 hours in flight time, a big occasion to celebrate!!!

Ofcourse, I want the theme to be...AIRPLANES. My two girls and I will dress up as flight attendants, 60's style, with the long white boots. But I need decorating tips, food, etc. Plus, we live in Qatar and it is not easy to find somethings there. I will have to shop for them on line. The party will be in October. HELP!!!

Aviation is a great theme for a party. Check out the web to find inflatable airplanes to use as centerpieces or decorations. Use kids wings pins as toppers for cupcakes. Or, have a designer cake made to resemble airport runway and place diecast airplane toys as cake topper.

Order inexpensive disposable trays to serve food on like they did airlines years ago.

Design party invite to look like retro airline tickets.
