my husband and mom are a day apart should i combine a party?

my mom is in her 70s my husband 40s,, they are a day a part in july,,,also his brother will be in town.. not sure if i should have a party for just my husband or for both of them...

If they have similar interests and friends and get along well, sure! But if no is the answer to any of those questions, I'd have stand alone parties. That way they will each have their own time to shine on their special day.
