moving party for my 14yr old daughter

We are moving back to Louisiana. We have been in Nebraska for a little over 3 years. My daughter has made wonderful friends here and It is going to be sad for her to have to leave them but we have no choice that is where our home is and our work is done here. She is 14 and has a became close to so many kids here. Can you give me and idea of what to do. I wonder what the invitation should say and what the theme can be. I want it to be a fun memorable time for her. I was thinking of renting a place for the evening and having music and finger foods. but i need ideas.
