Make Your Own Princess Party Veils

by Sherry Ann
(Wilton, CT)

When my daughters were younger I made colorful veils for their princess parties.

I bought bright color cloth covered headbands (cheap by the pack at Walmart)and yards of bright color tuille-netting-also cheap in the fabric departmen atWalmart. I then sewed the tuille onto the headbands for bright color princess veils. Mix the colors of tuille and headbands, fold the tuille not quite in half, scrunch the folded section and pin to 6-8 inch section centered on top of headband, sew with invisible thread. The tuille should hang 12-14 inches long for dramatic effect.
