Italian Party Theme

If it's a warm season, consider hosting your party outdoors. Transform your patio or table into an Italian feast with decorations of green, white, and red, the colors of the Italian flag. Bunches of grapes, whether real or fake, are a fun addition to the table.

Great Italian party supplies include attractive bottles of oil and vinegar for both eating and decoration. Decorate with vines, real or fake. Make your own out of specialty papers found at most craft stores. You can also make "leaves" easily out of green tissue paper, and tie them onto a rope or vine with green wire, also available at a craft store. For larger decorations, use cut outs from poster board to make vines, leaves, and grapes. If you have posters of Italy or the flag, include these as well.

Play some Italian music in the background. You might want to choose a famous Italian singer, such as Pavarotti, or use a compilation CD with a variety of music. Whichever you choose, it will serve to set the tone.
