dessert party reception

Can you provide some tips on how best to arrange a dessert table. My husband is being ordained and I am responsible for the reception for 50 plus people. I will be serving desserts, coffee, water and possibly sodas...
Thank you

Dessert table setup
by: Krista Blaes

Visual appeal goes a long way for any food table. To add interest vary the heights of the desserts being served. Use boxes, books or whatever is handy. Cover with fabric that complements the table covering and place dessert trays on them.

To keep the flow of guests from backing up, have a separate table for your beverages. Also, have food accessible from both sides of table.

Have desserts baked or cut to bite-size. This will encourage guests to try more things.

Enjoy!
