I’m having a Christmas party for a friend in a couple of weeks? Can you give me a few ideas for fun Christmas party themes?

My ideas for you
by: Krista

I inherited cookbooks from my Grandmother and it always amazes me to see how much effort was put into a brunch or dinner. If you?ve seen a Betty Crocker cookbook from the 1950s, you know what I mean. Try hosting a Christmas Past or Retro themed party. Tell ladies to put on those heels, dresses, hats, gloves and pearls.

The Gentleman can grab power suits or button-up shirt, tie, pants and loafers. Have them join you for a party June Cleaver would be proud of. What were Americans cooking in the 1950s? Here are some classics: Pigs in a blanket, gelatin molds, tuna-potato chip casserole, and baked Alaska.

Other theme ideas:
Naughty or Nice?
?Not so Silent? Karaoke Night
Holiday Cookie Swap
Gingerbread House Decorating Party

I wish you the very best. I know your party will be a great success!
