Book Exchange/ Fundraising Party

This could be for birthday, graduation, housewarming, casual
get together.

Have guests bring:

1. Their favorite book
2. A poem or humorous story
3. A book that meant the most to them
4. Their favorite author

They could either gift the person or you could make it a book exchange party. They could wrap their book so no one knows which book they are getting. This party is great for high school or college graduation. Works for baby showers also (have people gift their favorite childrens story) so the baby has their very own library!

Another great idea we've used often:

Our children receive a gift of a donation to the humane society or soup kitchen. Our children get to bring it in. It's a very rewarding idea as opposed to watching children opening gifts that they really don't need.
