Bling it On

Bling It On- Girls Night Out Party Theme

Bling It On- Girls Night Out Party Theme

What better way to play dress-up like we girls did way back when, than to throw party that not only condones it, but makes it a requirement.

The "No Such Thing as too Much Bling" party was designed for ladies young and old to pull out their furs, feathers and rhinestones for a girl's night out.

Invitations were enclosed with rhinestone encrusted purse mirrors and lipstick pens in an organza drawstring bag. The pink tri-fold invite featured silhouettes of three ladies in formal attire on the front. Rhinestones were affixed to accent necklaces and bracelets. On the back, the copy read: You're invited to release your inner diva! Grab your fur wrap, feather boa and rhinestones for an evening of bling. And remember darlings, there is no such thing as too much bling!

Pink fuax fur, black and white feather boas, and diamonds galore adorned the tables. Mirrored mosaic candle holders sparkled throughout the evening.

Champagne flutes with Lindemans’ Framboise and Peche were filled and ready as guests arrived. Actually a Belgium beer, these bubbly beverages tasted like sparkling champagne.

The music playlist created in I-Tunes included Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Dean Martin. As the evening progressed and the guests were letting their hair down, so to speak, more current tunes were heard by Flo Rida, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and more.

The evening was all about feeling beautiful and being pampered. A massage therapist was there to give shoulder, back or foot rubs.

As a parting gift, lipgloss packaged like chocolates were placed in silver pastry wrappers and arranged on a cake stand. And, for those ladies that weren't able to find diva attire, bowls of jeweled rings were available as well as black and white feather boas.

Towards the end of the evening, a contest was held to determine who was the Queen of Bling, the Goddess of Almost as Much and the Princess of Less is More.

Ladies were asked to strut their stuff and compete for the prizes. Gifts included a massage gift certificate, pink crystal champagne flutes and bling sunglasses.
