Beach House for a week-my turn to cook --WHAT??

by evonne
(Columbus Ohio)

34 family members at the beach. we are in teams. my team has friday night. Monday is steak, chicken kabobs; Tues.: "Fat Tues. Mardi Gras style". Wed. Celebrate Italian Heritage: Thurs. BBQ. Now, FRI.:I don't want Mexican. I like to cook, but for some reason I'm stumped. We go the whole route.:Cocktails, light appetizers, salads, entrees, dessert. Everyone pretty much likes everything, but we do have a "highly allergic to shellfish" nephew- I can't cook and resusitate at the same time, so an on-the-beach New England syle clam and lobster bake is sadly not an option.
I'm good at the decor, music, table decoration, etc--I really need an idea for food and a little theme to amp up Fri night. HELP>>>and Thanks in advance.

Why limit yourself to just one country? Try a culinary tour of the world. Showcase different dishes from each destination such as the Caribbean, Japan, Paris, Greece.

Decorate with passports, small suitcases, and decor from each locale.
