25th Birthday Party Ideas

My daughter will be 25 in November. I'd like to throw her a party at home with a New York them for family and friends, but I don't have a lot of money and I want it to not be boring. We have lots of parties at home, but I want this to be different and special. Any ideas?

You could look to the Sex and the City craze and go all out New York style fashion. Hot pink, or red with some zebra print. Serve up a signature Cosmopolitan drink. Decorate with scatter diamonds, feather boas, hats and more.

Or, bring Broadway to life. Pick just one show like New York, New York, or a combination such as Cats, Wicked and Moulin Rouge. Make the invites look like a Playbill featuring the birthday girl as the lead actress. Have fun with it.
