21st birthday party with family and friends

My 21st birthday party is in a couple of weeks. I want to do something that includes friends and family. Not everyone is over 21, and I'm also not a big drinker. Does anyone have any ideas for how to combine this mixed-age group so everyone can have a good time?

Do a party with an activity that appeals to all ages. A murder mystery dinner or karaoke contest party. Or, hire someone to teach swing dancing to the group and let people work it on the dancefloor. Or, rollerskating. I just had a 50th party that was a 1960s roller boogie theme.
Another idea is to have a two-stage event. Meet at famitly friendly location and then take the grown-ups out for a night at a dance club or sports bar.
Think outside the box and you are sure to have a party everyone will enjoy.
